1 Corinthians 13:4-5
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.”
My husband and I are always asked how we met and how long we’ve been together. Well truth is this power couple met in high school in 1988. Yes, I know that was a long time ago however for us our platonic friendship was multidimensional. We were friends, homework partners, student governance leaders and each other support companions. However after high school we both went our separate ways but our friendship was unbreakable. I got married, started a family and he joined the United States Marine Corps. and eventually started his family. For years we didn’t communicate or see one another. I eventually entered corporate america and he moved up the ranks in the military. After almost 30 years apart we both found ourselves single, and over 40. I think we both were living beneath the purpose for our lives. Through a profound sequence of events that we will revealed in our book in 2020….💕we found ourselves living within 15 minutes of one another. The scripture states that LOVE is patient, LOVE is kind. My husband is the kindest person I know. He tells me I am the most loving. I guess that’s why God joined us together to show His LOVE throughout the earth. And when God puts LOVE and KINDNESS together it produces GREATNESS! Just what He intended. GOD is LOVE.
